NEIGHBOURHOODS IN MOTION
The Wellington Street West Centennial Photo Contest

Our section of Wellington Street was so named almost one hundred years ago, on June 25th, 2008. Marking this centennial, the Neighbourhoods in Motion photo contest captures the spirit of the street linking Hintonburg and Wellington Village and the people who make it special.

The contest is open to all, young and old, and the competition will capture our main street
as we know it today,  just ahead of major road reconstruction which is set to transform Wellington as early as Spring 2008 and move our neighbourhood corridor into a new era.

Winning submissions will be widely displayed
and certificates will be awarded.

  • amateur, 16 years old and under

Geography

Kindly limit your shooting
to Wellington Street West between between Western Avenue and Bayswater Avenue including the area one block north and one block south (which would include parts of Armstrong, Spencer, Gladstone, Byron and the Parkdale Market area). We're not going to be too picky here but you get the idea: concentrate on the main street and areas immediately adjacent . Need a map?
